Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a part-time
Transportation Aide / Driver to join our team at the Skilled Nursing and Rehab campus in Monroe. In this position, you'll be directly supporting your community in Monroe County.
Responsibilities-
Transport residents/clients to appointments as schedule

Observe and report any physical and/or behavioral changes in residents/clients to nursing staff

Work tactfully and cooperatively with residents/clients, families, visitors and the entire staff throughout the organization

Flexible schedule and works overtime on occasion to meet the needs of the department

Observe and report any physical and/or behavioral changes in residents to charge nurse
-
Assist with other job responsibilities and duties as assigned

Communicate with medical staff and other department supervisors
Qualifications-
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Chauffeurs license (required).

Current, valid and in good standing drivers license (required).

Experience with driving a multi-person bus or vehicle is preferred.

Reliable, detail-oriented and committed to teamwork.

Schedule and Compensation-
Employment type: Part-time, 20-32 hours per week
