We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized person to join our small, local vacuum and sewing machine sales and repair shop.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, learning new skills, and being part of a hands-on small business. No previous experience with sewing machines or vacuums is required—we are willing to train the right person!
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent, friendly customer service
- Learn about sewing machines and vacuum cleaners so you can confidently assist customers
- Help customers choose the right machine for their needs
- Prepare sales estimates and quotes
- Place customer and supplier orders
- Call or text customers when their machines are ready for pickup
- Answer customer questions in person and by phone
- Keep customer orders and paperwork organized
- Keep the showroom and work areas clean, neat, and organized
- Assist with general day-to-day tasks in the shop

- Friendly, patient, and professional with customers
- Organized and dependable
- Comfortable talking with customers and answering questions
- Willing and excited to learn about sewing machines and vacuums
- A good communicator
- Detail-oriented and able to keep track of multiple customer orders
- Comfortable using a phone, texting, and basic computer functions
- Willing to help with cleaning and keeping the shop organized
Schedule & Pay
Pay: $20 per hour
Part-time or full-time available
Required workdays: Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday
Additional days may be available depending on the schedule.
