- A "quick brake job" can turn into a wheel bearing, caliper, and existential crisis.
- "It just started making the noise yesterday" usually means six months ago.
- Every customer has "already replaced everything."
- The service information is wrong approximately 17% of the time.
- And somehow, the check engine light always comes back on Friday at 4:45 PM.

We're looking for an experienced technician who still enjoys fixing cars and hasn't completely lost faith in humanity.

We don't care if:
- Your toolbox cost more than your first house.
- You own every Snap-On wrench ever made.
- You're ASE certified in everything including spacecraft repair.
We do care if:
- You diagnose before firing the parts cannon.
- You take pride in your work.
- You show up.
- You help your teammates.
- You can laugh when the labor guide says a three-hour job takes 0.8.
This is not an entry-level position. A minimum of 5 years of diagnostic experience is required, but we're really looking for someone with 10+ years of experience who can confidently tackle electrical, drivability, and complex diagnostic problems without relying on the parts cannon. If you've ever fixed a car that three other shops couldn't, you're probably the type of technician we're looking for. We need a true diagnostician, not a parts replacer.
Bonus points if:
- You talk to cars while diagnosing them.
- You've yelled "WHO TOUCHED MY TEST LIGHT?"
- You've spent twenty minutes looking for a 10mm socket that was in your pocket the entire time.
- You understand that zip ties are occasionally a temporary engineering solution.
