Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our Lynmar Builders team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment. MUST BE WILLING TO WORK NIGHT WORK (MON-THURS 8PM-6:30AM). MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL BETWEEN NJ, PA, DE, MD, and VA (hotels provided).
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials as directed by supervisors.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Assist in the installation of structures, frameworks, and other components as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the project duration.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Carpentry skills highly desired.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on-site.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction processes.
- Reliable transportation to job sites is essential.
