COCKTAIL SERVER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and take guest orders and process in a timely manner through whatever systems are currently used in the restaurant.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Perform side work as assigned
- Operate point of sale system.
- Straighten chairs, and keep floor free of debris.
- Clean service area and replenish as needed.
- Bus and set tables.
- Handle cash and credit transactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Communicate with support crew and management.
- Adhere to the WA Hospitality Cash Handling Policy.
- Assists Bartender with additional duties as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds repetitively
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of wine and other alcoholic beverages and have the ability to explain to guests.
- Must be able to obtain an Indiana Employee Liquor Permit.
- Must be age 21 or above.
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous bartending or cocktail serving experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively
