We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant who enjoys working with patients and contributing to a positive team environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, adaptable, and committed to providing excellent patient care while supporting both clinical and administrative functions.

Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, medication lists, and pain assessments
- Assist the physician with patient evaluations and clinical documentation
- Prepare and maintain patient charts in Athena EMR
- Process referrals and coordinate outside records when needed
- Schedule diagnostic testing, imaging studies, and laboratory services
- Perform urine drug screen collection and documentation
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments, test results, and physician instructions
- Assist with procedure scheduling and follow-up care
- Support aesthetic services as needed
- Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
- Assist with general office duties and cross-training as needed
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Athena EMR experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers
