Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time, dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team on Saturday's and Sunday's. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Weekends required.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage housekeeping duties in hospitality settings, adhering to established protocols for cleanliness and sanitation.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold quality standards and improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in custodial work.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices is an asset.
- Familiarity with hospitality environments such as hotels or resorts is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards service.
