Responsibilities
Assist lead mechanics with routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid replacements, tire service, and basic mechanical repairs.
Support the team by cleaning work areas, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and organized shop environment.
Help with vehicle preparation for repairs, including moving vehicles within the shop and ensuring proper safety procedures are followed.
Handle basic hand tool operations under supervision, including wrenches, screwdrivers, and power tools to assist with minor mechanical work.
Participate in automotive diagnostics support by gathering tools or parts needed for repairs.
Assist with alignment setups and other vehicle maintenance tasks to ensure quality service delivery.
Perform heavy lifting of vehicle parts or equipment as required to support repair activities.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; previous dealership or mechanic experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity of standard passenger car operation and automotive service procedures.
Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in a workshop setting.
Basic understanding of automotive diagnostics, fluid replacement, oil changes, tire service, and minor mechanical repairs.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
Excellent customer service skills to support positive interactions with clients when needed.
Reliable work ethic with a proactive attitude towards learning and supporting team operations.
