THE ROLEAs a Production Prep team member at our Richmond location, you'll be right in the heart of where the magic happens. You'll work alongside a dedicated kitchen team to prepare ingredients, support batch production, maintain food safety standards, and help deliver the consistent, high-quality product that our retail locations and our customers count on every day.This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position that's perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced, team-first environment. WHAT YOU'LL DODay-to-Day Production

Prepare and measure ingredients for ice cream production following established recipes

Support batch production to meet daily output goals

Operate production equipment (mixers, batch freezers) safely after training

Package and label finished product accurately

Food SafetySanitation

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitation-compliant workspace at all times

Follow all food safety protocols including allergen awareness and temperature monitoring

Complete required equipment and surface cleaning tasks at the start and end of each shift
InventoryQuality

Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming ingredients using FIFO practices

Conduct quality checks on product appearance, texture, and consistency

Flag inventory shortages or quality concerns to your supervisor promptly

Team Collaboration

Work closely with kitchen teammates to keep production running smoothly

Communicate proactively with the Production managment about progress and needs

Bring a positive, can-do attitude and support a culture of care and accountability
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

This is a full time position Monday-Friday with shifts starting at 7:00 am
-
At least 6 months of experience in a food production, commercial kitchen, or food service setting
-
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and consistency

Ability to follow recipes, written procedures, and food safety guidelines

Reliable attendance and ability to work a consistent full-time schedule

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to work in a freezer and other cold environments
Bonus points for:Experience in a food manufacturing or production kitchen environmentServSafe certification or equivalent (or willingness to get certified)Familiarity with batch production, ingredient scaling, or commercial equipment
