Nursery Coordinator – Part time
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, part time Nursery Coordinator to support our congregation and take the lead of our nursery needs. The main hours will be during our worship service on Sunday mornings with additional designated hours throughout the week. The Nursery Coordinator will have oversight of the nursery and work with parents, volunteers, and staff. If this sounds like the position for you, keep reading to learn more!
What your day will look like:
- Care for infants and small children during designated nursery times
- Coordinate and oversee scheduling of volunteers and staff in the nursery
- Train volunteers and staff especially youth in established policies and procedures for nursery and childcare
- Offer ongoing support to volunteers and staff
- Oversee the recruitment of volunteers
- Communicate with staff and Council regarding the needs in the nursery

- Caregiver who has experience with watching children in a nursery setting
- Relationship builder who works well with parents, volunteers, and staff
- Administrative and organizational skillset
- Trust builder, ability to maintain the trust of parents, volunteers, and staff
