Morgan Park Academy (MPA) is a coeducational, college-preparatory independent day school serving students from Pre-K through Grade 12. Founded in 1873, MPA is committed to educating the whole child — academically, socially, and ethically — while preparing students to become independent learners and global leaders who make a positive difference in the world.
The Lower School emphasizes curiosity, kindness, intellectual risk-taking, and joy in learning through developmentally responsive, student-centered instruction within a supportive and inclusive community.
Lower School Faculty at Morgan Park Academy are responsible for creating a warm, engaging, and intellectually rich learning environment that supports the academic, social-emotional, and ethical growth of young learners. Faculty design and deliver instruction aligned with MPA’s curriculum framework while fostering curiosity, collaboration, and independence.
