Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and food production, with a creative flair for menu development and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety while managing kitchen staff effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead and the manage kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring high quality and consistency in taste and preparation.
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Ensure all kitchen staff are properly trained and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain adequate kitchen inventory levels.
- Assist in end of month and weekly inventories.
- Ensure that recipes and food preparation instructions are followed correctly.
- Monitor food quality and presentation.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen development.
- Assist in menu planning and development.
- Ensure all local and state health department standards are met.
- Works closely with FOH management to ensure standards of service are being met.
- Ensure that all food is served in a timely manner.
- Ensure all employees follow safety workplace practices and reports on unsafe work practices.
- Ensures that all staff are adhering to the policies outlines in the employee handbook.
- Always fosters a positive team and work environment.
- Follow all local and state fire life safety guidelines.
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management with a focus on culinary excellence.
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices.
- Expertise in food service management, including inventory control and cost management.
- Ability to create diverse menus that cater to various dietary needs and preferences.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in shift management and team supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with staff at all levels within the restaurant environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
