Brake Press Operator / Brake Form Operator
Department: Manufacturing – Sheet Metal
Reports To: Production Supervisor / Manufacturing Manager
Status: Full-Time
Shift: 1st shift -= 7am - 3:30pm OR 2nd shift - 3:00pm - 1:30am
Pay Rate: $35.00-$45.00 or DOE

We are looking for skilled:
Press Brake Set Up / Brake Form Operator
To operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. You will produce precision in aerospace parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements.
Requirements and Skills:
-Perform typical press operations to produce materials according to specifications and on schedule.
- Inspect the materials produced for quality and conformity; correct any inconsistencies.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Motor skills, press brake machines have multiple settings and levers that must be adjusted for each job and quickly manipulated to complete job.
- Maintain the work are and equipment in a lean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required.
- Proven experience as Press Operator
- Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines.
- Ability to use precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to take accurate measurements
- Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Good at math with analytical abilities
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
- Previous experience operating Brake Press, Punch Press, Drill Press, Hand Metal Forming or a combination of those skills required
- High School diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship preferred but not required.
