Position Title: gKids. Lead Teacher for (Grades 4th–5th) or (Grades 6th to 12th)

Schedule: Sundays, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Job Summary: Join the dynamic gNextGen team at GodChasers Church as the Lead Teacher for our gKids. class (4th to 5th grade) or (Grades 6th to 12th). Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead Sunday class sessions with enthusiasm, delivering Bible-based lessons that bring the Word of God to life.
- Foster a loving, structured classroom environment where children feel seen, valued, and spiritually supported.
- Engage students in worship, creative activities, and small group discussions that reinforce biblical truths.
- Cultivate spiritual growth and model a Christ-like lifestyle, nurturing children toward leadership and discipleship.
- Collaborate with classroom aides and volunteers to maintain order, safety, and a joyful learning experience.
- Assist in preparing the classroom, including setup, supplies, and cleanup.
- Build relationships with children and families, offering encouragement and consistent prayer support.
- Support and mentor volunteers serving in the gKidsjr. classroom.
- Assist in special children’s ministry events and trainings as needed.

Physical & Work Environment:
- Classroom-based with occasional outdoor activities or extended standing.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and engage physically in age-appropriate activities.
- Participation in occasional church-wide events or special services required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of teaching or ministry experience with children preferred.
- Personal commitment to daily prayer, Bible reading, and Christian character.
- Completion of background check, safety training, and ministry onboarding.
- Must pass drug screening, personality assessment, and basic proficiency tests.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
