Position Overview
Off the Hook of Yonkers is seeking a friendly, dependable, and energetic Restaurant Team Member to support daily restaurant operations and deliver excellent guest service. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with coworkers, and is willing to assist with different restaurant duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service
- Assist with taking and serving food and beverage orders
- Support front-of-house and kitchen operations as needed
- Maintain clean and organized dining and service areas
- Process customer payments accurately using the POS system
- Assist with food preparation and order assembly when required
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth restaurant service
Duties
- Greet guests and assist with seating or general requests
- Take dine-in, takeout, and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages promptly
- Set, clear, and reset tables
- Package takeout and delivery orders
- Restock food, beverages, utensils, and service supplies
- Maintain dining areas, service stations, and workspaces
- Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning procedures
- Report guest concerns and operational issues to management
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, seafood, hospitality, café, or customer service experience preferred
- Experience as a Server, Host, Food Runner, Busser, Cashier, or Restaurant Team Member is an asset
- Basic POS and cash-handling knowledge is a plus
- Food Handler or Food Safety Certification is an advantage
- Entry-level candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
