Mobile Occupational Health Collector (1099 Independent Contractor)
ARCpoint Labs of Wilmington, DE is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Independent Contractor Mobile Collectors to provide occupational health testing services for employers, government agencies, and commercial clients throughout Delaware and surrounding areas.
This is a flexible 1099 independent contractor opportunity ideal for experienced DOT collectors, occupational health professionals, phlebotomists, or healthcare professionals looking for supplemental income while maintaining a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform DOT and Non-DOT urine drug screen collections in accordance with applicable regulations and Company procedures.
- Perform observed collections when required.
- Conduct breath alcohol testing (BAT), if qualified.
- Maintain accurate chain of custody and complete all required documentation.
- Package and prepare specimens for shipment to designated laboratories.
- Travel to employer locations and onsite collection events throughout Delaware and surrounding areas.
- Communicate professionally with donors, clients, and ARCpoint Labs staff.
- Follow all Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), client-specific requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Immediately report documentation issues, unusual circumstances, or incidents to the Company.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Current automobile insurance.
- Ability to travel to various collection sites.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to use a smartphone, email, and basic computer applications.
Preferred:
- DOT Urine Specimen Collector Certification.
- Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) Certification.
- Previous occupational health, specimen collection, or mobile healthcare experience.
- Experience with eScreen, Labcorp, Quest Diagnostics, or similar collection platforms.
- Experience performing collections for DOT-regulated employers, government agencies, or correctional facilities.
Compensation
Compensation is provided per assignment and varies based on assignment type and travel distance.
Typical compensation includes:
- $50 for assignments within 0–40 driving miles
- $75 for assignments between 41–80 driving miles
- $100 for assignments 81+ driving miles
Additional compensation may be available for after-hours, emergency, holiday, or specialty assignments.
