The Server Store is a family-owned IT hardware company that’s been in business for over 30 years. We specialize in refurbished servers, enterprise hardware, and components used by businesses around the world.
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about technology and ready to build a long-term career in tech sales. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who’s eager to learn, grow professionally, and develop within the tech industry.
If you’ve built your own PC, spent time researching hardware specs, followed new technology releases, or are the person friends go to for tech advice, you’ll likely feel right at home here.
This is a fully onsite position in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where you’ll gain hands-on experience with enterprise hardware, technical sales, customer relationships, and business operations while learning directly from experienced industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with pricing, product availability, and hardware-related questions
- Prepare quotes and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with customers through email, phone, and Microsoft Teams
- Coordinate with shipping, production, and accounting teams to help keep orders moving smoothly
- Support customer service requests, including RMAs and order follow-ups
- Learn server hardware, product configurations, and technical sales processes from senior team members
- Build product knowledge and develop strong customer relationship skills over time
Qualifications
- Strong interest in technology, computer hardware, servers, or IT
- 1–2 years of sales, customer service, or other customer-facing experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in technical sales
- Familiarity with computer components or PC hardware preferred
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
