Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and shift management to ensure smooth daily performance.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team, providing ongoing training, coaching, and development to foster a high-performance culture.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to maintain quality standards and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Control inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and manage food and beverage costs using POS systems such as OSS Data and Micros POS.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a positive dining experience.
- Supervise kitchen management activities including food production, catering, banquet events, and bar operations to optimize efficiency.
- Handle cash management duties accurately, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation at shift end.
- Implement food safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant food industry standards.
- Conduct staff training sessions on food preparation techniques, customer service excellence, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with the management team on budgeting, cost control initiatives, and operational improvements.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management with a strong background in food service operations.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training, team management, and interviewing skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as OSS Data for sales transactions and inventory control.
- Experience in managing quick service & fast-food restaurants as well as casual dining or fine dining environments is highly desirable.
- Background in food safety standards, budgeting, food production, catering, bar operations, and hotel or banquet experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service.
