A Medical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the clinical team, ensuring the delivery of consistent, high-quality care to patients. This position is essential to fostering a positive patient experience by promoting excellent customer relations, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment, and ensuring that the clinical operations run smoothly. By seamlessly assisting both patients and healthcare providers, the Medical Assistant helps create an efficient, organized, and compassionate care setting, contributing to the overall success of the healthcare team.

Education: Certified Medical Assistant and Orthopedic experience/knowledge is preferred.
Language Ability: Ability to effectively communicate with patients, providers, and insurance representatives.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to utilize advanced knowledge of imaging processes, techniques, procedures, and anatomy to direct activities and develop policies and procedures.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and operational knowledge are required.
Certificates and Licenses: Maintain Medical Assistant Certification if applicable. Current CPR/ AED Certification prior to employment.
Personal Skills: Ability to adapt to changing pace, stressful situations, and frequent interruptions. Positive attitude and professional appearance is required.
