About the Case
Quality Care & Love is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a medically fragile 4-year-old girl in Villa Rica. This flexible PRN opportunity offers approximately 34-35 hours per month caring for a child with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and other complex medical needs. Flexible scheduling is available, with evening and weekend coverage preferred.

Patient Details
- Nonverbal with complex neurological and developmental needs
- Requires total assistance with activities of daily living
- Requires assistance with mobility, positioning, and transfers
- Oral diet with PediaSure supplementation
- Uses adaptive equipment including a wheelchair, stander, walker, and AFOs
- Requires close supervision and seizure precautions
Hours & Schedule
Approximately 34-35 hours per month
Flexible scheduling coordinated with the family.
Preferred Availability
- Evening hours
- Weekend availability preferred
Schedule can be adjusted based on nurse availability.
Skilled Nursing Responsibilities
- Medication administration
- Seizure monitoring and documentation
- Administration of rescue medication as ordered
- Ongoing nursing assessments
- Assistance with mobility and positioning
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Patient safety monitoring
- Monitoring for changes in condition
- Electronic charting and documentation
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN or LPN license
- Current CPR certification
- Pediatric or home health experience preferred
- Experience caring for children with seizures or cerebral palsy preferred
- Reliable transportation
