We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Admissions to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in the Yonkers, NY. This role is ideal for a professional with skilled nursing experience who excels at managing admissions, cultivating referral relationships, and supporting facility census growth.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the admissions process and coordinate incoming referrals
Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, case managers, and referral partners
Verify insurance coverage and assist with authorizations
Ensure accurate admissions documentation and seamless resident transitions
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to facilitate timely admissions
Qualifications:
Skilled nursing facility experience required
Previous admissions, intake, or healthcare admissions experience required
Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
