Center Front Office Staff
Epic Academics has a team of excellent tutors that helps students at a personalized level. We tutor students in grades K - 12 in school subjects and test prep. ** PLEASE NOTE: This is not a remote position. Candidates must be able to work from Epic's center locations in Schaumburg, IL AND Buffalo Grove, IL. **
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors in a professional manner
- Provide visitors and current students/parents with information and direct them accordingly
- Answer phone calls, e-mails and other correspondence to and from center
- Schedule, monitor, & update student tests
- Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies; order and distribute office supplies as necessary
- Manage & schedule appointments, meetings and tutoring sessions
- Support tutors & students with any questions they may have
- Perform other administrative, project & customer service tasks to ensure operations of center run smoothly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must have 1-2 years of experience in an office administrative setting
- Must be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers and landline telephones.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including high comfort level speaking on the telephone & in-person interactions
- Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail while multi-tasking and keeping high level of accuracy
- Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment
This is an hourly position. Hourly range is $18-$20.
Candidates must be available to work during our center hours listed below including at least one weekend day.
Our center hours during the summer are as follows:
- Mondays - Fridays: 11:00am - 7:00pm
- Saturdays: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Our center hours during the school year are as follows:
- Mondays - Fridays: 1:30pm - 9:30pm
- Saturdays: 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Sundays: 11:00am - 7:00pm.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
