EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this position, you will support the Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation by coordinating grant activities that restore land and water within Pennsylvania's bituminous coal region. As a Grant Coordinator, you will perform the following duties: Evaluate grant applications, discuss project ideas with applicants, and make eligibility determinationsTrack project progress, ensure reporting requirements are met, and prepare program reportsReview reimbursement requests and analyze funding use to support effective grant managementWork with technical staff and partner programs to align abandoned mine land (AML) and abandoned mine drainage (AMD) projects with statewide effortsEnter and maintain accurate program data in required electronic systemsAssist in training staff on processes and procedures related to the AML/AMD Grant ProgramInterested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.This position will be assigned to one of the following headquarters locations: Rachel Carson State Office Building – 400 Market Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101Cambria District Office – 286 Industrial Park Rd., Ebensburg, PA 15931Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
