Ronco Industrial Supply is a growing supply company located in Bensenville, Illinois. Since 1977, Ronco has served customers with a wide range of industrial supplies, including MRO products, safety supplies, janitorial and sanitation products, and other essential business and facility needs.
As Ronco continues to grow, we are looking to add a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to our team. This is an exciting time to join the company and become part of the collaborative accounting department that helps support the day-to-day operations of the business.
The Accounting Associate will work closely with our team of accountants and assist with routine accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, data entry, and general accounting support. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, reliable and comfortable working in a team environment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Entering invoices, payments, credits and other accounting data
- Helping reconcile accounts, statements and records
- Supporting month-end and routine accounting processes
- Maintaining accurate and organized financial records
- Communicating with vendors, customers and internal team members as needed
- Assisting with reports, scanning and general administrative support
- Performing other accounting-related dutied as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping or office preferred
- Basic understanding of AP, AR and reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work well with a team
- Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with accounting software is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Dependable, professional and willing to learn
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
