Job description:
Tutor Me Private School is seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated second grade teacher to join our team. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about helping students build strong academic foundations while creating a positive, engaging, and structured classroom environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and committed to supporting each student's individual learning needs through creative instruction and meaningful relationships with students and families.
Responsibilities
- Create , plan, and deliver engaging daily lessons aligned with grade-level standards in Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
- Foster a safe, positive, and respectful classroom environment that encourages student growth and confidence.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the academic needs of all learners.
- Collaborate with school administration and fellow teachers to support student success.
- Participate in school events, meetings, professional development, and other school activities as needed.
- Maintain classroom organization and uphold school policies and expectations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.
- Passion for teaching and fostering a love of learning in young children.
