Your Role: In this role, you will provide essential hospice support to clients, promoting their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. HHAs play a vital part in helping individuals maintain their dignity while receiving the assistance they need.
You Responsibilities: This role consists of 3 overnight 12 hour shifts a week. Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement in daily activities. Monitor and promptly report changes in clients’ physical, mental, or emotional health. Follow individualized care plans while ensuring clients’ safety and comfort at all times. Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning Support meals, feeding, and basic health-related tasks. Maintain a clean, safe patient environment Communicate with nursing staff and report changes in condition.
Qualifications: NYS Certified Home Health Aide. Ability to read and write English. Current NYS Driver's License. Ability to work well with others and accept direction. Flexibility.
