HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Manufacturing Technician - AHMO to support the build, diagnostics, and testing of pre-production vehicles and subassemblies.
In this role, you’ll perform vehicle bring-up activities, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and provide critical feedback that helps engineers refine designs and prepare vehicles for production.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both mechanical and electrical systems. They enjoy troubleshooting complex issues and collaborating closely with engineering teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As a Manufacturing Technician - AHMO, you'll:
- Build, diagnose, and test pre-production vehicles and subassemblies alongside engineers and fellow technicians.
- Perform vehicle bring-up activities, including electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Provide build and test feedback to engineering teams to support product development and continuous improvement.
- Complete assigned work to support project schedules and production milestones.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and safety while following all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines.
- A bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience as a technician in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Day 1 requirement: Safety shoes with composite toes and electrostatic dissipative (ESD) protection that conform to ASTM F2412 and ASTM F2413 standards
Bonus Qualifications:
- Automotive or OEM experience, particularly in end-of-line (EOL) testing, diagnostics, or repair
