Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings.
- Scoop ice cream accurately and efficiently, ensuring portion control and presentation quality.
- Maintain cleanliness by following sanitation procedures, including cleaning scoops, counters, and equipment regularly.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions quickly and accurately.
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper handling, storage, and sanitation protocols.
- Restock supplies such as cones, cups, napkins, and toppings to ensure smooth service.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and create a friendly atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety management practices.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision.
- Familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn new technology tools.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and ensuring food safety standards are met consistently.
