Cost Accountant
Location: Paoli, PA (100% Onsite)
A growing organization is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join its finance team in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of cost accounting experience. .
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain standard costs within the ERP system
- Perform product costing for new and existing items
- Analyze standard cost variances and manufacturing performance
- Prepare inventory reconciliations and assist with month-end close
- Create and post journal entries related to inventory and manufacturing operations
- Analyze inventory levels, including slow-moving and obsolete inventory
- Partner with purchasing and operations teams to improve inventory flow and cost efficiency
- Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and operational analysis
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide financial support for capital projects
Qualifications
- 4+ years of cost accounting experience
- Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred
- Experience with standard costing and cost variance analysis
- Inventory accounting experience preferred
- Oracle ERP experience is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
