Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Guttering Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the installation of gutters, ensuring precision, safety, and quality in every project. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise gutter installation teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings related to gutter systems and roofing components
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless integration of guttering with roofing, siding, and other exterior elements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to install various gutter types including metal and single-ply membrane systems
- Ensure compliance with construction safety regulations, including the proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, and heavy lifting techniques
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation procedures, safety protocol adherence, and quality control measures
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to roofing repair, metal roofing, siding installation, or restoration projects as needed
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing, siding installation, or exterior building systems
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with roofing repair, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry or related trades
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and the use of safety harnesses and ladders at height
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate power tools effectively
- Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions across different job sites
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to guide teams through complex installation processes while maintaining high safety standards
- Additional skills such as welding, tile laying, plumbing, framing carpentry or handyman experience are a plus
