Position Overview: Crew Chief
The Crew Chief is the cornerstone of our operations, serving as the main client liaison, leader of our service team, and manager of daily logistics. This position requires exceptional leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to provide a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities1. Leadership & Team Support
- Act as a leader and mentor for crew technicians, fostering a culture of professionalism and growth.
- Oversee all services performed, ensuring work meets or exceeds A+ standards.
- Train new technicians to deliver consistent, high-quality results aligned with company values.
2. Scheduling & Communication
- Manage and adjust daily schedules to optimize efficiency and communicate updates to the office.
- Confirm client appointments and promptly notify customers of delays or changes within designated timeframes (8–11 AM, 11 AM–2 PM, 2–5 PM).
3. Customer Service & Sales
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences by professionally greeting clients, reviewing inspection reports, and explaining repair estimates clearly.
- Memorize pricing structures and recommend necessary services, including additional upsells when appropriate.
- Conduct residential inspections and complete all chimney, gutter, and roofing services to the highest standards.
- Process payments, invoices, and deposits with accuracy and integrity.
- Obtain Google business reviews from customers after creating exceptional customer service.
4. Materials & Supplies
- Determine materials needed for projects and coordinate orders with the owner.
- Pick up and install custom products as required.
5. Vehicle Management
- Ensure work vehicles are clean, organized, and fueled daily.
- Conduct regular inventory of supplies and promptly report maintenance needs.
- Park vehicles in designated lots after each workday and arrange for weekly vehicle washing.

- Availability: This is a full-time 1099 independent contractor position where you would need to be available Monday through Friday. Arrival time to prepare for the day would be 7:30am until the scheduled appointments within the service time window of 8am-5pm are completed for the day.
