Fabricator/Welder

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal structures and components based on blueprints, specifications, and project requirements. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout, materials, and sequence of operations.
- Fabricate, cut, shape, and assemble metal components using welding, cutting, and bending equipment.
- Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or other welding techniques as required.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machines to prepare materials and components for welding and assembly.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy, ensuring they meet required standards.
- Maintain and repair fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards while working with hazardous materials and equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Ensure that all work complies with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control measures.
- Adhere to project timelines and work within established schedules.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must pass pre-employment weld test to be considered for position
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in welding or fabrication is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Strong knowledge of welding safety standards and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with fabrication tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions and instructions.

Preferred Skills:
- 3 years of welding experience necessary.
- Welding certifications are a plus but not required.
- Experience with CNC machinery or other automated fabrication tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with laser cutting, plasma cutting, or other advanced fabrication methods.
Working Conditions:
- Physical requirements include standing, lifting, bending, and working with heavy machinery.
- Work may be performed in various conditions, including indoors, outdoors, or in confined spaces.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, helmets, and protective clothing is required.
