Residential Support Staff (Fri-Sat NOC)

Job Responsibilities include:
- Ensure consumer’s safety, dignity, and well-being as well as providing consumers with any required help in fulfilling their personal and private needs in a residential setting
- Assist in the successful inclusion process, backing away when appropriate
- Complete all documentation required; to include incident reports, allocation records, consumer charting
- Attend weekly staff meetings, in-services and trainings
- One year from date of hire must satisfactorily complete the first 35-hour competency-based training course and pass the competency or challenge test. Two years from date of hire must satisfactorily complete the second 35-hour competency-based training course and pass the applicable tests
- Work hours include: afternoons and weekends
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months paid experience in the field
- Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral English communications
- Current First Aid/ CPR certification
- Ability to perform some lifting up to 70 pounds per person
- Must pass a health screening, including a TB test clearance
- Must pass a Criminal Record clearance, including fingerprinting
- Current California Driver’s License and provide proof of insurance
