Position Summary
The Lab & Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for performing materials testing in accordance with ISO, ASTM, and other applicable standards, while supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of our ISO 9001:2015 quality system. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized professional committed to maintaining high-quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform materials testing per ISO, ASTM, and other applicable standards
- Prepare and issue test reports for development, manufacturing control, warehouse, and other departments
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory testing equipment
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping for testing, analysis, and traceability
- Organize and maintain the laboratory workspace
- Provide material certifications (FDA, RoHS, etc.) as required
- Stay current with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and updates
- Manage quality system documentation, including change requests, corrective actions, and process updates
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 1–3 years of manufacturing experience
Required Skills & Competencies
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong understanding of written standards (ASTM, ISO, etc.)
- Clear oral and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time‑management and organizational skills
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
- Basic statistical knowledge
