Job Description Responsibilities include, but are not limited to::
- Accept rental payments and post rents to Yardi.
- Record monies collected and prepare bank deposit slips on an on-going basis.
- Update availability report, process applications for approvals. (i.e., credit check, rental history, etc.) Submit processed applications to the Property Manager for approval.
- Ensure apartment is ready for the resident to move-in on the agreed date.
- Monitor renewals.
- Handle tenant eviction process from start to finish. Including going to court.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all the times.
- Understand the Apartment Association lease and contracted credit report application.
- Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
- Assist in planning resident functions. Attend functions and participate as host for any functions as directed by the Property Manager.
- Assist in lease transactions by typing leases, gathering applicant’s history and credit approvals.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Yardi knowledge a MUST
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Assistant Property Manager
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
- Spanish preferred but not required
- Have reliable transportation.
- Is able to pass a full background check (no exceptions).
- Previous work experience in residential property management.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented ‘can-do’ team player, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
