We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mason to join our dynamic construction team in. As a Mason, you will play a vital role in shaping and building durable structures, working on a variety of projects including residential, commercial, and restoration sites. Your expertise in masonry techniques will ensure that each project meets high standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship. Responsibilities
- Construct, repair, and restore structures using bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other masonry materials with precision and attention to detail
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Mix and apply mortar or concrete with hand tools and power tools to secure bricks and stones effectively
- Install rebar reinforcement and perform concrete finishing to achieve smooth surfaces and structural integrity
- Operate heavy equipment such as mixers, forklifts, or other machinery necessary for large-scale projects
- Perform rebar installation, metal stud framing, stucco application, and caulking to meet project specifications
- Collaborate with carpenters, roofers, plumbers, and other tradespeople during renovation or restoration projects to ensure seamless workflow
Skills
- Extensive experience with concrete forming, finishing, and pouring techniques
- Proficiency in construction estimating and reading blueprints or schematics accurately
- Strong knowledge of masonry materials including brick, stone, stucco, tile laying, and trim carpentry
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as trowels, chisels, hammers; power tools including saws and drills; heavy equipment operation as needed
- Ability to perform plastering, roofing support work, metal stud framing, welding, and caulking with precision
- Solid understanding of construction site safety protocols and experience working on diverse construction sites in
- Familiarity with renovation processes and restoration work involving historic or damaged structures
