Project Manager / Reconstruction Estimator

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager / Reconstruction Estimator to join a growing restoration team serving the West Michigan market. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction or restoration professional who enjoys leading projects from start to finish while managing client relationships, estimating, and project profitability.
This position focuses primarily on reconstruction, with commercial projects making up the majority of the workload. If you're looking for long-term stability, leadership opportunities, and strong earning potential, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Manage residential and commercial reconstruction projects from start to finish.
- Prepare accurate reconstruction estimates using industry-standard software.
- Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, vendors, and project schedules.
- Monitor budgets, timelines, quality, and profitability throughout each project.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, insurance representatives, and internal teams.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Report to the West Michigan office and support projects throughout the assigned territory.
Project Portfolio
- 65% Commercial
- 35% Residential
- Manage an annual book of business ranging from $2M–$5M in project revenue.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of reconstruction project management experience preferred.
- Commercial restoration or commercial construction experience strongly preferred.
- Reconstruction estimating experience required.
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and customer relationships.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Mitigation experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- $70,000–$80,000 base salary for candidates with 5+ years of experience.
- Up to $100,000+ base salary for highly experienced candidates with an established book of business.
- 1% commission on qualifying projects.

Location:
This position supports projects throughout West Michigan, extending south to the Michigan state line.
Candidates located within approximately one hour of the Greater Grand Rapids area are preferred. Relocation assistance may be considered for highly qualified candidates.
