Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Weight Loss Clinic
Part-Time or Full-Time | $17/hour
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing weight loss team! We are expanding and opening a second location in Seffner, and we are looking for team members who can support both our Tampa or Seffner locations.
The ideal candidate will be organized, compassionate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment. This role includes both administrative and clinical responsibilities to help ensure smooth daily operations while providing exceptional care and support to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative duties accurately and efficiently
- Complete routine clinical tasks to support medical providers and staff
- Communicate with patients by phone to provide updates and follow-up information
- Maintain accurate patient follow-up records and documentation
- Schedule patient appointments using an online scheduling system
- Administer injections as directed and according to clinical guidelines
- Measure and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure and weight
- Provide excellent customer service and patient support
- Assist with daily clinic operations at either our Tampa or Seffner location
Qualifications:
- Current Medical Assistant (MA) certification required
- Previous healthcare administration or clinical experience preferred
- Comfortable using computers and electronic scheduling systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience administering injections required
- Must be able to speak and understand English
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work between locations is a plus
