Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and emergency medicine environments. This role is critical in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine respiratory therapy needs.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapy.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in developing care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory conditions and treatments.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards in a Level II Trauma Center or ICU setting.
- Respond effectively in emergency situations, utilizing skills in emergency medicine.
**Requirements **
Queen's North has 1 position open for Respiratory Therapist on Oahu, Hi. 36 hours on a 16 weeks ROT.
3+ years staff RRT experience in all phases of respiratory therapy with a minimum of 2 years acute care experience
EPIC EMR Experience
Required Certs: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, AHA NRP Advanced Provider, NBRC-RRT
36 Hour:
Gross Weekly: $2644.00
Hourly: $16.00
OT: $75.00
Per Diem: $2068.00
