Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system to process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
- Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to enhance customer experience
- Maintain clean and organized fuel islands, store shelves, and checkout areas through merchandising and stocking
- Conduct product demos or promotional activities to engage customers and boost sales
- Handle cashing out customers with precision while adhering to cash handling procedures
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during fueling operations and store activities
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or damages
- Support grocery store functions by helping customers locate items and offering personalized service
Experience
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery or convenience store environments
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is highly desirable
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
- Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing inventory counts
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, or product demos enhances your ability to succeed in this role
