Facilities Maintenance Technician
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Pay Rate: $25 - $28 per hour (Depending on experience)
Core Business Purpose
The Facilities Maintenance Technician supports all Tangen Hospitality venues by maintaining safe, clean, and fully functional facilities. This role performs a wide variety of repair, maintenance, and construction-related tasks across company locations to ensure buildings, equipment, and systems operate reliably and support an exceptional guest experience.
Position Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility improvements across multiple company locations. This position requires a versatile, hands-on professional with construction experience who is comfortable executing projects from start to finish, including framing, basic electrical and plumbing work, finish work, and general facility upgrades.
This role works under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and closely with venue management teams to complete projects efficiently while keeping all facilities safe, functional, and well maintained.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform general construction and repair work including framing, drywall installation/repair, painting, trim work, and minor finish carpentry
- Complete basic electrical and plumbing tasks such as fixture replacements, outlet/switch work, leak repairs, and equipment hookups
- Assist with build-outs, remodels, and renovation projects across multiple locations
- Demo and prep areas for new construction or repairs, including removal of damaged materials and site cleanup
- Install, repair, and maintain fixtures, equipment, and structural elements within facilities
- Read and execute basic project plans, layouts, and measurements accurately
- Conduct routine inspections to identify repair needs, structural issues, or safety concerns
- Respond to maintenance requests from venue managers and leadership in a timely manner
- Complete preventative maintenance on equipment, fixtures, and building systems
- Maintain and organize tools, materials, and job sites to ensure efficiency and safety
- Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized or large-scale work is required
- Assist with emergency repairs during operating hours as needed
- Travel between company locations to complete projects and maintenance work
- Perform other maintenance, construction, or operational support duties as assigned
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly employees accrue paid sick leave at a rate of 1 hour of sick pay for every 40 hours worked
- Employees are responsible for accurately recording and submitting their timecards each pay period
- Overtime may be available based on operational needs and must be approved in advance by the Maintenance Supervisor

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, maintenance, facilities, or a related trade required
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building systems
- Ability to complete projects independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines across locations
- Strong focus on safety and quality of work
- Reliable transportation
- Reliable form of contact to be reached by management
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to stand, climb, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
