QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is preferred. High School diploma or GED is required.

Five or more years of management experience in human services required.
-
Five or more years working with individuals with physical/intellectual disabilities.
-
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Strong organizational skills.
-
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Therap electronic client data base.
-
Ability to exercise sound, professional judgment and maintain confidentiality.
-
Commitment to follow implementing agency policy and supervise staff to adhere to policies.
-
Ability to function effectively as part of a senior level administrative team.
-
Valid Connecticut Driver's license and eligibility for Network, Inc.'s auto insurance.
-
Obtain and maintain all required certifications including First Aid, CPR, PMT, Annual In-service and Medication Certification.
WORKING RELATIONSHIP:
The Program Director reports directly to the Executive Director for all aspects of the following job responsibilities. Also develops and maintains relationships with the following:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Program Director shall have the following responsibilities:

Supervises and evaluates assigned Program Managers.
-
Directly oversees assigned programs. High visibility in the programs is required.
-
Conducts regular and on-going meetings with Managers as needed.
-
Assures implementation of all state and agency regulations and standards within their programs.
-
Responsible for program licensing and plans of correction.
-
Develops, implements and coordinates all emergency notification and action plans.
-
Conducts unannounced audits on their assigned programs.
-
Represents the agency in a professional manner at all times.
-
Assists in development of policies and procedures.
-
Processes incident reports received including 255 and 255M incident reports.
-
Coordinates disciplinary issues with the Human Resources Director.
-
Responsible to complete State reports including URR packets as needed.
-
Attends IP' s and six month reviews.
-
Provide oversight, review and timely feedback to Managers of required program documentation.
-
Maintains contact with Executive Director on emergency issues as required.
-
Monitoring of assigned program staffing budgets.
-
Processes incident reports received.
-
Assists in development of agency policies.
-
Participate in the interviewing of Program Managers.
-
Review State QSR reports and ensure timely follow through for open items.
-
Take after business hours calls and to be On-Call every other weekend.
-
Serve on agency committees including fund raising events.
-
Expected to improve services and to bring in community resources for programming.
-
Carries out other responsibilities as required and assigned.
