Position Summary
The Regional Strategic Advisor for Dermatology & Plastic Surgery serves as a senior clinical and business consultant responsible for supporting the growth, expansion, and strategic development of the organization's dermatology and plastic surgery telehealth services. This role provides expert guidance on clinical operations, market expansion, provider recruitment, service line development, regulatory considerations, and industry best practices.
As a trusted advisor to executive leadership, the Regional Strategic Advisor leverages extensive experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, and healthcare operations to identify opportunities for growth, improve clinical service delivery, and strengthen provider engagement across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Market Development
- Advise executive leadership on strategic initiatives related to dermatology and plastic surgery service expansion.
- Identify opportunities for growth in new markets, states, and telehealth service lines.
- Provide recommendations on competitive positioning, patient acquisition strategies, and market trends.
- Assist in evaluating potential partnerships, acquisitions, affiliations, and business development opportunities.
- Support the development and launch of new clinical programs and specialty services.
Clinical & Industry Advisory
- Provide subject matter expertise regarding dermatology, plastic surgery, cosmetic medicine, and telehealth best practices.
- Advise on emerging technologies, treatment innovations, and industry developments.
- Assist in evaluating clinical workflows, operational efficiency, and patient experience initiatives.
- Review and recommend enhancements to service offerings and care delivery models.
Provider Network Development
- Support physician recruitment and provider engagement strategies.
- Assist in identifying and attracting high-quality dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and advanced practice providers.
- Provide insights into provider compensation models, workforce planning, and retention initiatives.
- Participate in leadership discussions regarding provider performance and organizational growth.
Operational & Business Consulting
- Advise leadership on practice optimization, resource allocation, and operational scalability.
- Evaluate business performance metrics and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Assist with strategic planning, budgeting discussions, and long-term organizational goals.
- Provide recommendations to improve patient satisfaction, provider productivity, and financial performance.
Regulatory & Compliance Guidance
- Offer strategic guidance regarding telehealth regulations and industry standards.
- Assist leadership in understanding state-specific practice requirements and market entry considerations.
- Monitor healthcare industry trends and regulatory developments that may impact organizational strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a representative and ambassador of the organization when appropriate.
- Participate in leadership meetings, strategic planning sessions, and advisory committees.
- Build relationships with key industry stakeholders, referral partners, and professional organizations.
- Provide executive-level recommendations and actionable insights to support organizational objectives.
Qualifications
Education
- Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), MBA, MHA, or equivalent healthcare leadership credentials preferred.
- Board Certification in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery strongly preferred.
Experience
- Active and unrestricted medical license in good standing.
- Must maintain an active medical license in at least one or more U.S. state.
- Experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, healthcare leadership, or practice management.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, business development, healthcare operations, or clinical leadership.
- Experience with telehealth, multi-state healthcare operations, or specialty practice growth preferred.
Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong understanding of dermatology, plastic surgery, and aesthetic medicine markets.
- Knowledge of telehealth business models and healthcare industry trends.
- Familiarity with physician practice operations, provider recruitment, and healthcare regulations.
- Understanding of healthcare financial performance metrics and growth strategies.
