Responsibilities
Field site specific safety representative. Ensure compliance with regulatory safety standards, site and company specific safety standards and policies through routine site safety inspections. Conduct inspections and audits assigned by the EHS Manager – take corrective action and report findings. Identify hazards and assist with corrective actions. Daily safety paperwork audit. Conduct training as needed, assigned by the EHS Manager. Site safety monitoring. Incident investigation and reporting. Collaborate with field crew to prioritize safety initiatives. Lead safety related meetings. Provide weekly safety updates to the EHS Manager.
Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- OSHA 30 – at minimum
- Construction experience
- Microsoft – Excel, Word, Teams
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills
- Organizational skills
- In depth knowledge of OSHA standards
Preferred:
- Safety supervisory experience
- OSHA 510
- Degree in occupational safety, construction management, occupational health, fire and safety, or other related fields of study.
