Job Summary
iFix Galaxy is looking to add an individual to our growing team of repair technicians/sales associates with an entry-level position. iFix Galaxy is a cell phone, tablet & computer repair company with 2 locations in the Melbourne/Palm Bay area. We are looking for someone to grow with our rapidly expanding company! We strive to always promote from within and have many opportunities and positions available to grow into!
Responsibilities and Duties
As a technician/sales associate your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Following opening and closing procedures and documenting them.
- Creating and maintaining customer work orders.
- Handling inventory.
- Repairs to the majority of all makes/models of cellphones, tablets, & computers.
- Customer service (both in-person and via phone calls).
- Maintain the cleanliness of both the sales floor and the technician room.
- Process new customers in a friendly, professional manner and check out finished customers.
- Communicate updates and pricing quotes to customers for ongoing work orders.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- Cell phone familiarity and/or repair experience.
- 1 year of computer repair / familiarity experience.
- 2 years of sales experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Friendly and positive attitude.
- Able to work well with other team members.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, engaging environment.
- Drive to go above and beyond job duties.
- Dependable.
- Have a clean and professional appearance.
- Provide leadership with learning and training progress.
- Willingness and desire to learn advanced skills and repair processes leading to higher Tech tiers.
- Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex PC problems for end users, and recommend and implement solutions.
- Recommend, schedule, and perform PC, hardware, and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
- Monitor and test PC performance, providing statistics and reports using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Provide guidance to less experienced personnel through positive reinforcement.
- Prepare, coordinate, and support user training, documentation to provide technical assistance for post-implementation support issues.
- Perform routine to moderately complex problem analysis and resolution design for systems and applications.
- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations, and engaging in ongoing training.

Salary: $15.00 / hour

Schedule:
- 35-40 Hours a week. OT may be required in rare cases but is typically optional. The schedule might require you to work shifts from opening to closing.
