POSITION: Medical Billing Specialist – CHARGE POSTING/INSURANCE ELIGBILITY VERIFICATION
POSITION AVAILABILITY: Immediately
SCHEDULE: Part-Time OR Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
Required to work in MDAdmin Office (Not a remote billing position)
COMPENSATION: Hourly | $15-$16 to start (Depending on Experience) with compensation review at end of Probationary Period
Job Summary
Looking for a Medical Biller with a pleasant demeanor, must be flexible, dependable, a team player, and willing to learn. Medical Billing tasks are completed according to company standards as well as state and federal guidelines.
Essential Job Function and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Verify patient insurance information
- Posting Charges
- Document details of activity on each patient account
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 6 month medical billing experience or recent Graduate from Billing Program
- Program Experience: CollaborateMD preferred (not required)
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Basic Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT
- Communication Skills - Customer service oriented
- Time management and the ability to multitask are essential
- Organized and Attention to Detail
- Basic computer knowledge is essential
- Proficient use of web browsers and ability to navigate various websites
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Must display sufficient written and oral communication skills
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet reasonable productivity requirements
- Applicants must also maintain a high level of confidentiality as per HIPPA Compliance Guidelines

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Las Vegas, NV: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- ICD-10, CPT, insurance eligibility experience preferred, but willing to train with 6 months experience or recent Graduate from Billing Program
