Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the head chef or kitchen supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and disposing of waste properly.
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with restocking supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
