Position Overview:
We are seeking a caring and dependable PM Floater to support our classrooms during the afternoon hours. The PM Floater helps with transitions, assists teachers, and ensures children have a calm and joyful end to their day. Flexibility is key, as you'll move between classrooms to meet the needs of the center.
Key Responsibilities:
Support teachers during afternoon activities, snack, and outdoor play
Assist with naptime routines (where applicable) and end-of-day transitions
Supervise children and engage them in age-appropriate play
Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Fill in for staff breaks or absences as needed
Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and team members
Ensure all children are signed out and leave safely with authorized adults
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Previous experience in a childcare or preschool setting is preferred
Friendly, reliable, and flexible with a team-focused mindset
Must meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks, fingerprinting, and health screenings
CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
