What You’ll Do
- Assist with meals, transitions, and classroom routines as needed.
- Engage and play with children while ensuring safety and supervision
- Support lead teachers with activities that spark curiosity and learning Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Help keep classrooms clean, organized, and ready for daily activities
- Step into classrooms as needed to keep the day running smoothly and joyfully Meet all Ohio Department of Children and Youth licensing requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- A positive attitude and genuine love for working with kids
- Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliability and consistency
- Childcare experience is a plus, but we will train the right person
- Schedule Monday–Friday Full‑time (40 hours)
- Education & Training High school diploma required
- Early childhood experience preferred, not required
- CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in ECE is a plus
- CPR/First Aid certification required within 3 months of hire
- Location On‑site in Columbus, OH 43228
- Reliable transportation required
- $15.00-$17.00 per hour, based on experience and education
- Physical Demands Standing for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting 15–30 lbs
- Ability to kneel or crouch to interact with children at their level
