Local transportation company has an opening for a qualified CDL Class A or B driver to assist in Transporting vehicles to Auction. This driver must have a clean driving record. All applicants are subject to pre-employment drug screening and FMCSA regulations.
Please be advised that you must be able to work shift work and must be able to pass pre-employment drug screenings and random testing. This position pays on a per car basis, so the more you transport, the more you make.
YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE FOR THIS POSITION.
Expectations of a Transport Driver:
- Complete Pre trip & Post trip inspection daily prior to loading the vehicle.
- Verify the VIN numbers of all transport orders prior to loading the vehicle.
- Load/unload units per International Recovery Systems standards and safety guidelines
- Deliver units on time to various local auctions. Deliveries are time sensitive and must be delivered when scheduled to remain in compliance.
- Communicate with Transport Coordinator if any delivery issues arise
- Report any issues with the vehicle that would prevent a delivery from being on time to the Transport Coordinator.
- Complete all paperwork once delivery is complete to remain in compliance.
Requirements of a Transport Driver:
- Valid CDL B license
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable vehicle transport experience
- Must be 23 years or older due to insurance requirements
- Clean driving record and current DOT medical card
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule. Daytime hours, start time may vary due to auction hours.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
- Comfortable operating independently and navigating urban, suburban, and rural environments
Some of the qualifications of our ideal candidate are:
- Previous transport or logistics experience
- Ability to work in a time sensitive delivery environment.
- Strong attention to detail when verifying VINs and recovery paperwork
- Proficient with laptops/iPad

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
